Beamish
Beamish has launched a campaign centred on a limited-edition signet ring that can't be bought — only bartered for. To get one, consumers have to offer up something with "genuine character" in return, and the pitches have ranged from a first-born child and wedding invitations to a flat in Amsterdam, a car, dogs, and even a human soul. The campaign was created by The Public House and KOR. Each sterling silver ring, made by Dublin jeweller Joshua Reynolds, carries Beamish's distinctive "B" — formed by dehydrating drops of the Cork stout into ash, then infusing that ash into resin to cast the letter, so the ring is made in part from the stout itself.
